Was challenged to this a few weeks ago, but never got around to finishing and now I can’t remember who did the challenging. I’m sorry if it was you!

Anyway.

• FAVORITE CHARACTER OTHER THAN SHERLOCK AND JOHN? Molly Hooper, for sure.

• ANY SHIPS? Some days, Molly and Sherlock. Others, Lestrade and Molly.

• CURRENT FAVORITE THEORIES? Redbeard faked his death as well, and will be back in series four.

• FAVORITE EPISODE? Can’t choose.

• DO YOU EVER MAKE ANY REFERENCES THAT PEOPLE DON’T GET? WHAT ARE THEY? “Damn my leg!” and “I know, I’ve got a hip”. It makes me laugh during physical therapy and it makes my therapist roll his eyes, so it’s a win-win!

• FAVORITE FANFICTION? ‘An Avalanche of Detour Signs’. Aside from being brilliant writing, it also explores how Molly deals with finding out who Jim from IT truly is. A lot of pieces gloss over that plot point, and I don’t like that.

• CRAZIEST THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE BECAUSE OF THE HIATUS STRUGGLE? Created the hedgehogs that look like Freeman meme.

• IS MORIARTY BACK? I hope not. That storyline has been done and I’d enjoy new content.

• DOES MARY’S BABY EXIST AND IF SO, WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN? She will give birth to a baby.

• DO YOU REGULARLY MONITOR ANY OF THE TAGS? Nah, I stay out of the Sherlock tags.

• HOW MUCH TIME IN THE DAY DO YOU SPEND THINKING ABOUT SHERLOCK? Not as much time as I used to. Usually my thinking about consulting detectives and bloggers occurs whilst I’m on Tumblr and/or Twitter.

• OUTSIDE OF THE INTERNET, DO YOU HAVE FRIENDS THAT DISCUSS SHERLOCK LIKE YOU DO? A lot of my friends love the show, but don’t actively discuss theories or headcanons. One of my friends walked down (up?) the aisle to ‘The Game is On’.

• FAVORITE FAN VIDEO? Aside from the bit with Molly, this one. (http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/sherlock-on-bbc-one/videos/36513256/title/sherlock-series-4-promo-thy-kingdom-come)

• SUM UP THE FANDOM IN ONE SENTENCE. Creative.

• HAVE YOU MET ANY OF THE ACTORS. Nope.

• FAVORITE SHERLOCK AU’S? Not a big fan of AU’s.

• FAVORITE SHERLOCK ARTIST? Lexie! Her Tumblr is artbylexie.

• WHAT PART OF THE SHOW DO YOU GET MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT? Defending Molly Hooper and talking about why she’s such a BAMF.

• FAVORITE SHOW WRITER? Thompson.

• FAVORITE SHERLOCK CRACK? John uses Sherlock as an end table for items when he’s in his mind palace.

• FAVORITE JOHN BLOG POST? The comment sections.

• IDEAL CASTING OF HARRY WATSON? Someone unknown. I saw a GIF set that cast her as Catherine Tate and I loved it. Probably not for the actual show, but it’s fun to imagine John’s put upon face.

(TW: SUICIDE) • WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON THE OTHER BROTHER? THEORIES? WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM? The other brother committed suicide. As apparent by his need to fix things and protect Sherlock, Mycroft likes to be in control. Other brother may have had a mental illness, which Mycroft struggled with; not able to control, to fix. He took the suicide hard, which led to an increase of meddling into Sherlock’s life.

• IS MIKE STAMFORD CUPID? A best friend Cupid, yeah. Little known fact, he wasn’t at the wedding because he was actually helping other people meet their best friends.

• WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE GAY BAR SCENE? Okay.

• FAVORITE SHERLOCK AND JOHN OUTFITS? Sherlock as Shezza, and John with jeans and the cardigan.

• FAVORITE HEADCANONS? Too many.

• FAVORITE SCENE? The one where John storms into the drug den, then breathes through his nose a lot before spraining Wiggin’s arm.

• FAVORITE JOHN WATSON EXPRESSION? The ‘dis bitch’ one.

• FAVORITE SET DECORATION? Wallpaper. Always.

Felix Gonzalez-TorresUntitled (Perfect Lovers) 1991. Clocks, paint on wall.
Untitled (Perfect Lovers) consists of two clocks, which start in synchronisation, and slowly, inevitably fall out of time due to the failure of the batteries and the nature of the mechanism. In a moving comment on his personal experiences, the piece refers to Gonzalez-Torres’ HIV positive partner Ross Laycock, and his slow decline and inevitable death due to AIDS. The clocks act as two mechanical heartbeats; representative of two lives destined to fall out of sync, and holds a poignant poetry about personal loss and the temporal nature of life.
“Don’t be afraid of the clocks, they are our time, time has been so generous to us…We conquered fate by meeting at a certain time in a certain space…we are synchronized, now forever. I love you.”
